Skills and experience

  • Qualified Patent Attorney, or Legal experience specifically dealing with Intellectual property
  • 3+ Years consulting experience preferred

Senior Strategist - Intellectual Property

  • Help build our growing Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand offices with your intellectual property consulting experience

We are looking a qualified, experienced and, most importantly, a business-focussed patent attorney. Experience as a patent attorney or as an in-house intellectual property manager is a must.  Experience in management consulting would be a major advantage.

You must be entrepreneurial and driven – with a passion for commercialization and business strategy. Your research, communication, and presentation skills are exceptional – your ability to simplify information and turn jargon into plain English is a major asset in writing clear and concise reports. Being comfortable in front of groups leading workshops or running projects is a distinct advantage.

You are a lateral thinker with the ability to always be one step ahead of what is required and have the confidence to make decisions and take ownership while remaining unflappable under pressure. You are proactive, highly organized, quick on your feet and self-sufficient. And of course you have a great attitude – you don’t take yourself too seriously and are fun to work with.

Senior Strategist - Intangible Assets

 Components of the role include:

  • Providing advice to clients in relation to the strategy, risk, value and commercialization of their intangible assets
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for clients or new prospects including the delivery of strategy building workshops with clients
  • Building relationships with prospective clients, understanding the needs of a client organization and “closing the deal”
  • Developing solutions, preparing and writing reports and developing on-going client interface opportunities. The ability to develop and maintain client relationships is paramount to this position.
  • Being able to manage multiple projects with difficult deadlines

This will be a client-facing role responsible for managing valuation projects.  The best candidate will be an intelligent, energetic, confident and versatile individual who is willing to work hard and enjoy the challenge of being at the forefront of a fast-growing business. A team player who is self-motivated, entrepreneurial and has the ability to remain unflappable under pressure.

This role combines technical financial expertise, client management skills and will suit a person who is able to think laterally and be one step ahead of what is required with the confidence to make decisions and take ownership of projects.

Strategist - Intangible Assets

  • Providing support to the Australian Managing Director by helping to close sales as well as developing pitch decks and proposals
  • Research, identify and execute on new client opportunities for the firm
  • Leveraging existing contacts and networks to develop new client relationships
  • Support on delivering client projects

We are seeking an entrepreneurial business development and advisory professional, who is ready for the challenge of working in a fast growing professional services industry, for the company who is leading the charge. This role combines passion, enthusiasm, strong networking skills, superb organisational talent and pragmatic commercial expertise to grow and develop the company both in Australia and internationally.

You will be working alongside our Australian Managing Director to convert relationships and business development opportunities into closed sales. You will work with our MD to successfully close a consultative sales process, having accurately identified the client’s needs and customised a suitable solution to benefit both the client and the firm.

Sales management experience along with your entrepreneurial flair is of paramount importance. You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be extremely organised and self-motivated and capable of researching and formulating a strategic development plan for prospective clients in the market.

A proven track record in business development and sales in a professional services or management consulting environment is essential.

Office Manager

  • Seeking an experienced, super organized office administrator and EA
  • Part-time, flexible working environment on Auckland's North Shore

We are currently seeking a part-time office manager & EA to the CEO. This is a varied role requiring someone who is able to multi-task, will use their initiative and is super organized.

The role includes supporting teams across three countries (New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore), along with our New Zealand based CEO.

The role is based at the BHive co-working space in Smales Farm, Takapuna and offers a part-time, flexible working opportunity of approximately 10 - 15 hours a week (which can be within school hours). The exact hours and days will be confirmed with the right candidate.

We anticipate this role will grow with the company’s expansion.
