Private Equity Senior Analyst/Associate

We are looking for a senior private equity analyst/associate with a minimum of 3-4 years' professional experience to join our team.  The person will play an important role in the firm’s investment arm, EverEdge Capital, which focusses on investment into, and the commercialisation of high-value, intangible assets.

Components of the role include:

  • Working closely with the Chief Investment Officer to manage the day-to-day aspects of deal execution, management and reporting for the deal pipeline, tracking and updating project execution plans
  • Creating detailed financial models used for investment decision making, business strategy and valuation
  • Preparing materials for (and attend) investment committee meetings
  • Preparing marketing documents, including pitch materials, information memorandums, and presentations
  • Conducting financial and industry due diligence
  • Supporting the Chief Investment Officer in their relationship development responsibilities, including interaction with investors, target assets and companies
  • Participating in transaction meetings and due diligence visits
  • Supporting financial modelling and valuation work being undertaken by the firm’s advisory practice.

  • 5+ years PQE (engineering, law, business or technology qualification)

  • Providing advice to clients in relation to the strategy, risk, value and commercialization of their intangible assets
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for clients or new prospects including the delivery of strategy building workshops with clients
  • Building relationships with prospective clients, understanding the needs of a client organization and “closing the deal”
  • Developing solutions, preparing and writing reports and developing on-going client interface opportunities. The ability to develop and maintain client relationships is paramount to this position.
  • Being able to manage multiple projects with difficult deadlines
