Approvals and certifications

Approvals and certifications are essential markers of credibility, quality and compliance. They can represent official endorsements or acknowledgements that a product, service, process, or system meets specific standards, regulations, or criteria set forth by regulatory bodies, industry organisations or government agencies. Approvals and certifications can be valuable intangible assets beyond just offering access to markets or clients since they signal excellence, sustainability, or adherence to best practices. Companies can use them to enhance their brand reputation, attract new customers and command premium pricing for their products or services. However, not all approvals and certifications are created equal. Companies must carefully evaluate the significance and relevance of each certification to determine which ones add the most value to their operations and objectives.
