EverEdge’s CEO, Paul Adams and Head of Strategy, Paul Davies have been named amongst the world’s elite intellectual property strategists in the 2021 IAM Strategy 300 rankings. This is the 9th and 6th times respectively that they have been acknowledged in the rankings. In the case of Paul Adams, he has become the most frequently recognised New Zealander to be included in these rankings.

Commenting on the rankings, Josh Wild, editor of Intellectual Asset Magazine, the industry’s premier publication said ” “Intellectual property helps to drive the 21st century economy, creating strong incentives to invest in the creation and roll-out of brands and all types of content, as well as the innovation process. This makes IP strategists more important than they have ever been before. Their ability to create significant value makes them indispensable, wherever in the world they operate.”

“Since it was launched, the IAM Strategy 300 has become the go-to guide for those seeking to find out who leads the way when it comes to IP strategy. We invest considerable time and effort into identifying the right candidates for inclusion and we salute all those who have made it into the final publication. For the work they do, they deserve this recognition.”

Commenting on their inclusion in the IAM300 rankings Paul Adams, CEO of EverEdge Global, added “I am proud that Paul Davies and I have once again been acknowledged in the IAM Strategy 300 rankings. Intangible assets, including IP, today drive more than 90% of value of companies in the S&P 500. However, many companies don’t understand how to leverage these assets to their full potential.

“With Covid continuing to create significant market uncertainty as traditional revenue streams dry-up for many companies, intangible assets (such as data, brand, software, designs, trade secrets, confidential information and IP) have been thrust into the spotlight as companies look to create additional sources of revenue and drive additional value from their assets.

“Understanding how to leverage intangible assets can often be the difference between success and failure for many organizations. I am proud that the work that our team does to support companies to drive value through the use of intangible assets, has been acknowledged in the IAM Strategy 300 rankings.”

According to IAM, no individual can qualify for a listing in the IAM Strategy 300 unless he or she is nominated by at least three people from outside of his or her own organisation. At this point, further research is undertaken so that only those individuals who demonstrate exceptional skill sets, as well as profound insights into the development, creation and management of IP value, are featured in the IAM Strategy 300.
